Currently on show at Maya Gallery is a solo exhibition entitled Khazanah by watercolour artist Idris Mohamed Ali (b. 1944, Singapore).
Khazanah, in Malay and Urdu languages, means Treasure, and in many folklores narrates the concentration of riches, perceived as valuable intangible calculations and intangible measurements, hidden or discovered fortunes which never fails to excite.
Embark on Idris’ 55-year artistic journey as his artworks reveal hidden treasures through his documentation and interpretation of landscapes and street scenes.
