Artist in residence Heri Dono of Indonesia, who recently showcased at the 56th Venice Biennale, is back at the Singapore Tyler Print Institute (STPI) to complete the second phase of his residency. Heri is the feature artist in the upcoming Coffee & Conversations session, scheduled for 2.30pm, this Saturday 15 August, at the STPI, located at 41 Robertson Quay.
Coffee and Conversations is an initiative by the STPI to create an informal setting wherein artists and members of the public get to interact and connect. Through such casual interchange, artists get the opportunity to introduce their practice and ideas while audiences get the rare opportunity to view works in progress in the artist studio.
For this session, Heri will be joined by Singapore Art Museum curator Tan Siuli, who will offer perspectives on the Indonesian art scene.
