Making its debut on 6 October 2016 is a solo exhibition by Singaporean Artist Khairullah Rahim. Entitled Next Sunday, the showcase focuses on his new works that are inspired by the recreational activities on a typical Sunday in Singapore.
Referencing the hit Malay pop song of the 90s ‘Memori Daun Pisang’which means memories of Banana Leaf – the exhibition intends to elicit a romanticised notion of the recreational park.
The exhibition is part of the SHOPHOUSE series and ends on 30 October.
