Ota Fine Arts Singapore will be presenting Dog Bark, a solo exhibition by Shanghai-based artist Tang Dixin. Tang’s debut solo presentation in Singapore will feature 10 paintings from his most recent series. Tang’s paintings are often concerned with social commentary, alongside a sense of anxiety and restlessness. This series also has an added sense of the personal, following an incident in the beginning of the year where the artist was bitten by a dog, which stirred within him manic emotions and an unexplainable delusion of death. The exhibition will run from 24 October to 5 December 2015. The artist will be present at the opening reception, which will take place on Saturday, 24 October 2015, from 6 to 8 PM.
Ota Fine Arts is located at 7 Lock Road, #02-13 Gillman Barracks.
