Step into the controversial world of V40 by Vasan Sitthiket – the internationally-acclaimed activist artist who has spent 4 decades of using his artwork as a tool for voicing out and catalysing political change in Thailand.
V40, is the artist’s solo exhibition, proudly presented at the Yavuz Gallery in Singapore. The artworks shown, are a representation of Vasan’s meaningful self-reflection on his illustrious career thus far ; ranging from themes of corruption, homelessness, farmer’s rights, nuclear power and sexual desire.
Born in the Nakhon-Sawan province, Thailand in 1957, Vasan has developed a reputation as one of Thailand’s most controversial and socially vocal contemporary artist. Catch his controversial and unapologetic works at Yavuz Gallery, happening from now to the 19 July.
