For as long as history can remember, the nude genre is a classic that has preoccupied artists of all periods. Come 14 to 18 October 2016, Artist Loh Khee Yew presents his solo exhibition & book launch at the Visual Arts Centre.
Entitled Why Nude Why Not, the collective showcases Loh’s constant striving towards an ideal representation of timeless body by mastering the art of an eternal form – the human body.
The female body dominates most of the art pieces, created through a range of techniques and mediums such as ink, conte, pastel, acrylic and mixed media.
