Taking place over the weekend of 10 to 13 September, the Start art fair at London’s fabled Saatchi Gallery will see 10 Singaporean artists make their exhibition debuts in the English capital.
The group exhibition, called the Prudential Eye Zone Exhibition, is an extension of the Prudential Singapore Eye Exhibition that was held at the ArtScience Museum in Marina Bay Sands earlier this year. Dubbed the most expansive showing of Singaporean artists and their works in London, the show will feature stalwarts like Charles Lim, Jeremy Sharma, Gerald Leow, Jane Lee, Chia Ming Chien, Chen Sai Hua Kuan, Donna Ong, Justin Loke, Lee Wen and Sean Lee.
Charles Lim was Singapore’s sole represent at this year’s Venice Biennale while Donna Ong was a Prudential Singapore Eye Award winner in the Installation category. Jeremy Sharma, Jane Lee and Lee Wen are also among the Singaporean heavyweights whose work has been making waves in and around the region.
